free bourbon tastings every wednesday!
join us for bourbon wednesdays from 5-6pm as we host free tastings of a variety of the bourbons we are loving at the moment. taste the difference between "wheaters" and "high ryes" and explore some mouth-watering mash bills. you can sit back to compare and contrast while our talented bourbon staff provides you with a fun way to learn and try bourbons you may have never heard of and possibly would never have tasted. discounts on full pours of the selected bourbons all night long.

bourbon 101
this class lasts about an hour and costs $45 for non-club members. guests will be lead through a blind tasting 8 bourbons to learn the basics about america’s native spirit. club members's first meeting is included in their purchase price, and subsequent meetings will be half price.
the eight chosen bourbons will vary from week to week depending on the topic chosen for discussion and club input.

hartfield and co.--rescheduling--
vertical tasting of bourbon, led by hartfield and co. of bourbon county
$30 event. ($15 for club members)
this event is being rescheduled due to in-climate weather.
we will see how time influences bourbon by sampling the same product (hartfield and co bourbon) at separate stages of aging. we will taste it white off the still, one, two, three, etc years of aging and hartfield will discuss the aging process and it's impact on their product.
hartfield and co are the first licensed distillery in bourbon county in nearly a century. their products have only just began to hit the shelves in kentucky, and while we eagerly await our first drams of their much sought after bourbon to come available in frankfort, we are currently enjoying a delicious crisp hot apple toddy featuring their apple pie rum.
